About Us
Our History: The Thorn
30 years ago, we began 'The Thorn' as a way to share the gospel story with young people and help them experience the truth of the love God has for them. We started in our local church youth group, later expanding to tour nationally across churches and we now tour across the country in performing arts centers and theaters. Bringing the story of Jesus into the public square has allowed us to reach more people than ever, reminding each person in the audience that Jesus knows their name!
Bringing You the Christmas Story
Where 'The Thorn' tells the Easter story, 'The Arrival' takes us back to the story of Christmas. This arena show tells the Nativity story through the perspective of a clan of shepherds living in the hills near Bethlehem. We also follow Mary and Joseph as they fall in love, are visited by angels and discover what it means to find God’s hope in the darkness. Presented through live singing dance, stunts, aerial and circus performances, this is not your typical Christmas show. Audiences everywhere will encounter brand new Christmas music and age-old Christmas favorites reimagined through a vibrant, cinematic score.
Join us this season
'The Arrival' is touring this December, bringing the story of the first Christmas to stages across the country. We would love for you to join us and experience the journey to Bethlehem together. Get your tickets today!
